even though it’s in the côte d’or region, the source of the seine river belongs to the city of paris
the “shrine” to the seine
salmaise is such a small town (and so high up on a hill) that there are no shops or grocery stores – this bus served as the grocery store, and drove around the village honking so that people would know to come and do their grocery shopping
